WEBSITE

Travel Outfitters Etc. is one of the largest retailers of the amazing Tilley line of men's and women's clothing east of Montreal. But not only do they bring you durable, attractive, practical clothing—they also love music and present Festival performances.
Travel Outfitters Etc carries the finest in Canadian-made travel apparel. Whether you're hiking in the Himalayas, cruising the Caribbean or cottaging in Nova Scotia, they will outfit you from head to toe.
Travellers have a right to insist upon dependable clothing that can withstand whatever the world has to offer. Function is important also, but not at the expense of comfort, and Tilley has made sure their products age ever so gracefully. Simple to clean, too. They aim for clothing you can launder in a hotel sink in the evening, hang to dry, and wear neat and ready to go to breakfast. Not all Tilley's wash 'n' wear this well—but most do.
Everything with their name on it is made in Canada where they can keep a watchful eye. Some exceptions are the world's best socks, made to their UNHOLEY specifications in Iowa, and the water bottle created out west in Washington.
Travel Outfitters Etc. strives to offer other quality items made in Atlantic Canada—specifically, beautiful Woof sweaters made in Newfoundland, Northern Watters sweaters from P.E.I. and Rigor windproof, waterproof jackets and coats from Newfoundland. Every traveller needs good walking shoes and while, not made in Canada, Born and Merrell shoes for both men and women offer comfort and support. Be sure to visit Travel Outfitters Etc. and find the perfect item for your travel needs.
Town of Lunenburg
WEBSITE

The Town of Lunenburg, in Nova Scotia, Canada, was formally established in 1753 as the first British Colonial settlement in Nova Scotia outside of Halifax. These early settlers were from various parts of Germany, Switzerland and the Montbeliard region of France. They followed in the footsteps of earlier Mikmaq and Acadian inhabitants in the area. A vibrant and stable economy was built on farming, fishing, ship building and ocean-based commerce, particularly in the West Indies trade. More than 200 years in fishing, ship-building and marine related industries has provided Lunenburg with a strong economic base.
The Town of Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the last remaining examples of the British style of town design from the 18th century.
Lunenburg has been a supporter of the Folk Harbour Festival both through financial grants and in providing help with the physical set-up and tear-down of the facilities.
