The Graham Wells Group

WEBSITE
The first time Newfoundlander Graham Wells performed in Lunenburg, in 2003, he was a member of A Crowd of Bold Sharemen. Now, well-established as a solo artist,—his first solo CD was released in 2008—he also tours with The Irish Descendants. His immersion into traditional music began with accordion lessons from his grandfather, Edward Walsh. A short time living in Ireland led to collaboration with Irish fiddler Seamus Creagh and the recording Island to Island, a collection of dance music from both traditions. Joining Graham (who will perform on whistles, accordion and vocals) are Colin Carrigan on fiddle, Billy Sutton on fiddle and tenor banjo, and Jason Whelan on bouzouki, guitar, and vocals.
