This high energy Winnipeg band, named for the homestead of their grandfather, David "Doc" Schroeder, returns to Lunenburg for the third time after being here in 2006 and 2008. With four recordings behind them and a new band member, David Graham, on bass, House of Doc continues to blend gospel, bluegrass, and country. Siblings Dan Wiebe and Rebecca Harder have been singing together since they were kids in their Mennonite congregation. Dan has since taken up guitar, mandolin, harp, and violin. Rebecca brings her talent on flute, whistle, accordion, and banjo, and her husband Matthew Harder plays guitar, bouzouki, and piano. The combined vocal abilities and instrumental agility make House of Doc a powerful, entertaining concert highlight.
