Old Man Luedecke

WEBSITE
All across this country, artists who are passionate about old-time instruments and traditions are using those very foundations to construct new and exciting music. In the vanguard is Chester, Nova Scotia's own Old Man Luedecke. This contemporary singer/songwriter pens honest songs, pairing them with his intricate banjo playing, trademark foot-thumping, and heart-warming voice to deliver fresh music in one of the most entertaining stage shows going. A 2009 Juno winner, Old Man Luedecke is attracting serious attention nationwide. This year he is showcasing a batch of new songs from his latest Black Hen release My Hands are on Fire and other Love Songs paired with modern classics like "I Quit My Job" and "Joy of Cooking".
